RedotPay Targets South Korea’s Payment Market with Visa-Compatible Crypto Cards
Hong Kong-based fintech firm RedotPay has launched cryptocurrency-powered payment cards in South Korea, challenging the dominance of traditional credit card companies and mobile payment providers. The Visa-compatible cards, available in both physical and VIRTUAL formats, allow users to make real-time stablecoin payments and integrate with Apple Pay.
Priced at $10 for virtual cards and $100 for physical ones, RedotPay’s offering requires only basic verification during registration. The move signals growing institutional adoption of crypto payment solutions in Asia’s fourth-largest economy, where Visa acceptance is widespread among merchants.
